Destined for Freedom

“I will forgive their
iniquity and their sin I will remember
no more.”
Jeremiah 31:34

Our Creed

We believe change is possible.

The apostle Paul wrote to former homosexuals in the Corinthian church:

“Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.” 1 Corinthians 6:11

We know and believe that when a person falls into sexual sin causing loss of relationships dear to them, Christ is able to restore them complete and whole to their families and to present them spotless before our heavenly Father. Those that are saturated in God's love have no need to look for love in all the wrong places. We all need improvements, but we cannot complete them on our own, nor can we improve ourselves to win God's love. God loves us just the way we are, but He loves us too much to leave us that way! We can make changes because we already have God's perfect love for us.

“I will forgive their iniquity and their sin I will remember no more.”
Jeremiah 31:34

The following verses express disapproval of homosexual behavior, not feelings of same sex attraction:

For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. Romans 1:26-27

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.
1 Corinthians 6:9-11

Additional Verses:

See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow & deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition & the basic principles of this world, rather than on Christ.
Colossians 2:8

Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
John 8:32
